This explains what information momry handles when you organise family life in the UK app.

Information momry handles

• Your account and profile details, household membership and the people you choose to add.
• Plans, to-dos, reminders, shopping, routines and family reference details, including child dates of birth and medical or allergy notes you choose to save.
• The words you type or dictate, and text extracted from a photo or document you choose.
• Technical information needed for sync, reminders and the app features you turn on.

What stays private and what is shared

Your original captured words remain visible only to the account that authored them. Private plans and work that has not been confirmed remain author-only.

A plan becomes household information only after you review and save it for the family. Approved household members can then see it. Someone waiting for approval cannot read household information.

On your phone and in sync

momry keeps a local copy so the app can keep working offline. When you sign in, records configured for account or household sync synchronise through momry’s Supabase service when you are allowed to access them.

Synced information is encrypted in transit and at rest. It is not end-to-end encrypted. Protected backend systems and infrastructure administrators are technically capable of accessing information needed to operate the service, although momry has no staff screen for browsing family content, impersonating a customer or exporting it.

Turning captured words into plans

momry first uses rules on your phone. When those rules cannot understand a new free-text capture, the captured text needed for that request is sent through momry’s protected interpretation service to the configured AI provider.

An interpretation is only a draft. Nothing it produces becomes active until you review and save it. momry does not use provider response-history storage for interpretation requests.

Photos, files and device permissions

A photo or document you choose is read on your device. The file itself is not sent for interpretation; extracted text can be included with the captured words you submit.

Voice uses the microphone and speech recognition only while you are recording. Contact import opens the system contact picker for the person you select. The platform asks for full calendar access; momry uses it to manage entries in its own dedicated calendar. Weather uses the home address you choose to save: its location, rounded to about 1 km, is sent to the Open-Meteo forecast service. The address itself is not sent to Open-Meteo.

You can change device permissions in system Settings. Features that need a permission may stop working when it is turned off.

Crash reports

Crash reporting is off until you turn it on. Reports contain an allow-listed technical description of what broke. They do not include your captured words, plan titles, children’s names or addresses.

Leaving a household or deleting an account

Server access to a household ends when that membership is removed. The app removes its shared cached copy when it learns of the change; an offline device may learn after it reconnects. The same account can recover its author-private or unsynchronised work for 30 days where recovery is available.

An ordinary account deletion request signs the device out and has a 30-day cancellation period. When that period ends, author-private drafts, source captures and the account are removed. Confirmed family plans stay with the household without the deleted account attached. Deletion records can remain for 90 days so an offline device does not restore deleted information.
